Review:
To say this book is anything other than brilliant would be a lie. When you think you have things figured out, bam Ryan hits you with unbelieve turn.
While this book is only a mere 250 pages, it is packed with so much adventure. I would make the suggestion that you take your time when reading it. There are several different POV characters each with their own story that are an intrical part of the story. The main character Max, deals with his own struggles in life that are explained in the story.
The world building and characters are amazing. While the book is a fantasy book, there is nothing that isn’t believable. You are not overwhelmed with the world, you are hit with amazing characters.
It is so hard to sit and write this review without spoilers or go too much into detail about the story. However, I can say without a doubt, this book would be loved by anyone who likes an escape and a bond that is unmatched between a father and son.
Ryan, I feel it is important to let you know, you wrote a book that I am positive your father is so proud of you. You have helped myself to realize the relationship I want with my own kids. I am so thankful that you wrote this book.
